Halloween

Brenton was adorable as our not-so-cowardly lion! What a cutie pie!

Here's all the gang at our ward trunk-or-treat.

Our little witch! Caitlin was not sure if she still wanted to be a witch the day of, but we convinced her that she could actually switch and be the good witch (Glenda) because of the pink in her costume and she bought it. Crisis averted! :)

Whitney was very excited to be Dorathy. We even got a little stuffed dog for her to be Toto, but I kept thinking that it would be fun to do the Wizard of Oz again someday when we have a great big dog!

I was the scarecrow...if I only had a brain! :)
Nicholas got very creative with his costume as the Tin Man. Spray paint, insulation, and some gray glitter later, we had a great Tin Man. I love my husband and how much fun he makes life!

Here we are at Daniel and Erin's ward trunk-or-treat. It was inside, which was welcome after the rain at ours.

They even had some fun games, like doughnuts on a string. Caitlin really enjoyed it!

So did Whitney, I mean, Dorathy.

Carving pumpkins

For FHE on October 11th we carved pumpkins with Daniel and Erin's family.
Whitney was a little hesitant to dig in and get her hands dirty! Silly love! :)

Caitlin, however, was ready to go!

It was so fun to have Daniel and Erin's family join us. Erin was taking care of Colson and taking pictures for us. Thanks, Erin.

Nicholas and Caitlin were a team...

and Whitney and I were a team.

Our bat!

Nicholas and Caitlin's ghost.

The girls were very proud of the pumpkins! And we had a blast!

Caitlin's field trip

Caitlin went on a field trip with her pre-school class. They went to the WSU apple orchard and walked around and were able to pick out a few apples. We went that morning because my first class was canceled, but unfortunately the field trip got a really late start because they had to ferry the kids over one small bus load at a time because the big bus was in the shop. By the time we had to leave, they were just unloading the last group of kids (with Caitlin's cousin, Ava) and were ready to head into the orchard. Alas, the only pictures we have are of Caitlin waiting in line and dancing, but another parent took some of her that I need to get and add. She said she had a great time and really enjoyed it!

Our little cutie. While we waited for more kids to come, the kids sang songs. When they asked what to sing next, Caitlin called out "Scripture Power," which of course the teachers did not know. Another little kid called out "Popcorn Popping," which one of the teachers did know and as they sang you could totally hear which kids were LDS. It was cute.
